In April, most metro areas saw price increases, according to a report issued by the S&P/Case Shiller Home Price Indices. Those increases were at a slower pace than in previous months, but Metro Atlanta showed one of the strongest price increases among all the cities in America. Atlanta prices went up 13.7% compared to the same period last year. The fastest price hikes were in Las Vegas, where prices rose 18.8 percent during the past 12 months.
