BurgerFi in 12th & Midtown

The developers of 12th & Midtown announced Thursday that quick-service chain BurgerFi will come to its new apartment tower 77 12th Street. It will occupy 3,600 sq. ft. and is scheduled to open there later this year.

Burgerfi offers a unique "better burger" experience and promotes sustainable and healthy lifestyles. The beef is certified grass-fed, free range, and free from antibiotics and growth hormones. The chairs are made from recycled soda cans, and the picnic benches are made from 900 former milk jugs. Fries are cooked in peanut oil, and its custard is made from cane sugar.

“We are in the process of changing the way people view burgers,” Nick King, chief operating officer of BurgerFi, told Atlanta Business Chronicle last August.

During that time, BurgerFi revealed that they have 15 planned locations in Georgia. To date, it has announced locations at the Emory Point development, Alpharetta, and Kennesaw. Future locations and restaurants might include some near The University of Georgia, and possibly a company-owned store in Buckhead, King had said.
