Take part in a 15-year-old tradition!  The annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive takes place on the Saturday before Mother's Day. The drive, now in its 16th year, has become the largest one-day food collection in the nation. Last year, letter carriers delivered 70.7 million pounds of non-perishable food items donated by patrons to local food banks, pantries and shelters in hundreds of cities.

Just place a bag of nonperishable groceries at your mailbox this Saturday morning, and it will be picked up for delivery to the Food Bank!! This is an especially important time of year for food banks to restock. With the approach of summer and the end of the school year, families with children receiving free and reduced school meals will now be challenged to provide breakfast and lunch. Make a difference this weekend without even stepping into your car!
