Earth Hour 2008 is soon approaching! Help our environment by turning your lights out from 8- 9 pm local time on Saturday, March 29th!  This powerful statement is echoed by millions of people in more than 20 major cities throughout the world in hopes to fight climate change!

Continue the celebration of earth day in Atlanta on April 19th and April 26th.  Join in on two days full of exciting “go green” activities sponsored by  Keep Atlanta Beautiful's Greener Atlanta Initiative and the City of Atlanta and Atlanta's Beltline.  Volunteer to help in cleanups, e-waste recycling, tire roundups, educational events and entertainment!  Bring your family and friends to the Atlanta Zoo on April 19th and the Glenwood Park and Turner Field on April 26th! 

For the entire month of April you can register your neighborhood for a cleanup and tire roundup.  Visit the Atlanta Community Tool Bank on April 4th to pick up supplies.
