Emory and the Clifton Community Partnership held a meeting recently and discussed new plans to improve the pedestrian and bike paths along the north side of N. Decatur road!

Goody Clancy, one of the leading architecture, planning, and preservation firms, plans to create a scenic, landscaped path along this gateway to the Clifton community and Emory. Emory is purchasing homes along the north side of N. Decatur road or purchasing front sections of properties that lie along this area. Landscape borders would separate pedestrians from street traffic safely.

Pedestrians most likely to use these paths include those who walk to work or school at Emory and Druid Hills High School as well as runners, bicyclists, and recreational walkers who presently do not have a safe path in this area.

More good news for these neighbors is that property values for homes near the path will likely increase!
