This week, one of my Listing Partners, Rob Rosenzweig, emailed the developers of The Mix going in in Virginia Highland to get the latest and greatest. Here are a few key points:

> The building will be approximately 25,000 square feet of commercial space, 20,000 square feet of residential space (12 units), and 206 parking spaces.

> They have already received the Land Disturbance Permit as well as the permit for the parking deck. The final permit is at the City and they have received 4 of 6 of the necessary approvals.  They anticipate the permit to be signed off on in the next two weeks.

> Once the permit is issued, it will be approximately 30-45 days to mobilize and begin construction. The construction schedule is approximately 14 months with the delivery of the commercial spaces to be 12-13 months.  They anticipate a March 2010 completion.

> The site will remain open for parking until construction commences.
